OK, here are my results for Beliefnet’s Belief-O-Matic quiz. I’m interested in how accurate this not quite so little quiz is, because it definitely places me in a category that I don’t think I would have expected. I’m a Quaker? Maybe others out there can take this quiz and see if it describes how they would describe themselves.  Post your results here.

Probably a fair reflection/more mainline than liberal though. Although quite how 7th day adventist is up a shigh as it is is something of a mystery.

I should probably note that I’ve been raised in an Evangelical home, in the Free Methodist Church. So it’s a bit interesting that’s only 4th on the list.

Btw, i am Muslim and former Christian

Peace be with you

Hamza Isa Jennings

That’s really interesting that Islam and Judaism both rank 100% for you. It’s a wonder that there is so much animosity between the same groups if they are so much alike.

Yes, i would agree with you sir! However for me, it is a pleasing result as Muslims see Islam as the completed Religon – the final brick in the revelation from God to mankind; so it makes sense that Islam and Judaism match at 100% because the sourse of the revealed scriptures are the same. i.e. God.

God says: “This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion” (Qur’an 5:4)

Great quiz

Thanks

Hamza

Hi There,

My results are below. I found your site as i was curious what others people response to the quiz was. The quiz itself was a curious click on a text ad. The church we attended most while i was growing up was the Episcopal Church, but the Catholic church figured prominently.

After reading through what the link had to say about my top place, i am happy with what it say and believe it accurate as to where i stand today. For the rest down the list, much less so. Thank for your post.

I find the humanist philosophy quite interesting. Actually I think that might have actually what pushed the Quakers up towards the top of my list. While not secular humanists, they are definitely more of a religious humanist group.

It works very well for me, I am a Hindu. I think that below about 60% it becomes unreliable, for example I would have thought that “Liberal Quaker” would come above “Orthodox Judaism” and Taoism above Islam.
